 • Series: Return

Return: Snapshot of Revelation Pastor Randy Bezet Revelation 1:3 (NIV) Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.   Revelation 1:1 (NIV) The revelation of Jesus Christ... 4 Revelations of Jesus:   Faithful witness   Revelation 1:5 (NLT) Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.   Revelation 12:10-11 (NIV) 10 Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, “It has come at last—salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth—the one who accuses them before our God day and night. 11 And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony.   1 John 2:2 (NLT) He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins--and not only our sins but the sins of all the world. Lord of lords & King of kings   Revelation 17:14 “They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”   2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NLT) 1 You should know this, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that! Word of God   Revelation 19:13-15 (LT) 13 He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. 15 From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. Bright Morning Star   Revelation 22:16 (NIV) “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”   Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come. Whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” Revelation 21:4-7 (NLT) 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” 5 And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” 6 And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. 7 All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.
